Shield

A shimmering blue orb that encircles a selected area. Repels physical objects and magic alike with the exception of silver objects.

The bullet passed clean through my Shield and exited on the other side.

"What kind of Shield do you call that?"

"They're using silver bullets."

Pulse

A marble-sized ball, only visible on the seventh plane or higher, that floats around an area and returns to its caster. Its color upon return signals the strength of the magic in the area, the lowest being blue, and the highest being indigo.

I dodged the Pulse that came over my head easily and continued on my flight.

Overcitation

The act of linking to external articles or definitions, especially in an obsessive manner.

"Hey, man, I was just on Wikipedia... They have some major problems with overcitation."

Charm

Deludes the mind, but its precise integration is unknown. Can be used to befuddle humans or disguise objects. Likely it simply manipulates the mind.

"She used a Charm, and I don't remember what I said."

Dubstep

A genre of music that uses sounds emitted by analog sound devices the same way techno music uses sounds emitted by digital sound devices. It uses heavy bass and is generally associated with the hip-hop genre and has received heavy criticism due to its lack of melodic definition.
