1. A dumdum is a stupid person, as described above.

Mackinac Bridge

1. The Mackinac Bridge is a bridge that stretches five miles to unite Michigan's Lower Peninsula, & Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It connects the LP (Lower Peninsula) at Mackinaw City, and the UP (Upper Peninsula) at St. Ignace. It is the worlds longest "total suspension bridge."

2. It is also the only bridge (that I know of) that has a valued name to needy people (such as myself) that depend on food stamps monthly to help meet monthly food needs. Wherein the bridge's name has value to us, is that the State calls our past food stamps a "Bridge Card" now. So in more ways than you'd think this bridge is a link from hard times to better times.
EX: Todd wondered why it was called a "Bridge Card", so he asked the lady at the DHS window and she told him why. She said that it was named after the Mackinac Bridge.

B-durr

1. B-durr is a contemporary slang term that is very similar to or is the same as durr. It is used either at the very end of a sentence or at the beginning of the sentence usually. But it can be used mid-sentence, but that's rare; unless the person talking is an air head. The longer you drag it out the last "r" (to a point, obviously) the more accentuation you are adding to your description.

2. B-durr is another slang word for "DUH"!
EX 1. B-durr! What a moron! Did you see that? He just walked into the flagpole! Hahahaha!

EX 1a. I didn't think that the test was that hard, but she didn't pass it, B-durr!

EX 1b. I don't know what she was thinking, B-durr! OMG! She just broke up with Tommy, and now they are back together?!?!? That's so typical for her to do, what an iggit!

1. "Dropped like a lead balloon" is a phrase, not a word, but it is none the less an old expression that means literally and/or figuratively that something will not fly. That it will drop like a rock, etc...
He told the boss his new idea for the ad campaign and it dropped like a lead balloon. There was no way that the boss would approve such a risky & shoddy scheme.
