Get the DUMDUMmug. 1. The Mackinac Bridge is a bridge that stretches five miles to unite Michigan's Lower Peninsula, & Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It connects the LP (Lower Peninsula) at Mackinaw City, and the UP (Upper Peninsula) at St. Ignace. It is the worlds longest "total suspension bridge."

It is used either at the very end of a sentence or at the beginning of the sentence usually. But it can be used mid-sentence, but that's rare; unless the person talking is an air head. The longer you drag it out the last "r" (to a point, obviously) the more accentuation you are adding to your description.

Get the B-durrmug. 1. "Dropped like a lead balloon" is a phrase, not a word, but it is none the less an old expression that means literally and/or figuratively that something will not fly. That it will drop like a rock, etc...
He told the boss his new idea for the ad campaign and it dropped like a lead balloon. There was no way that the boss would approve such a risky & shoddy scheme.
