Beautiful, little Hudson River waterfront town about one square mile big. Mix of old world brownstones from the late 1800's and modern doormen buildings with all the amenities. 90% of the town now works in Manhattan, so the average income is way above average. The old school Hobokenites are slowly being priced out. Lots to do on the waterfront now - great parks and amazing views. Bars and restaurants everywhere you shake a stick. The town gets rowdy after midnight, with young drunks everywhere. It used to be just about young drunks, but now families are sticking around longer. Its easy to get run over by a stroller, as they are everywhere.
Really great town for singles or families. Something to offer everyone. Everyone who makes a decent living, that is.
Parking is horrific and you have to be careful driving, with all the one way streets and potholes.
