France

A country in Europe that seems kinda annoying. Helped us in the American Revolution, But then raided our ships in the 1810's. They gave us the Statue of Liberty in the 1880's (not sure what year). Got involved in WWI, but then a stalmate insured and it took US involvement to end it. Then in WWII, ignored the fact nearly all German attacks had come at them through Belgium, but put all there trust in a deffensive line guarding the German-French border. Beacuse of this little eroor, spent the next 4 years under German occupation until liberated by USA, Canada, UK, and free french forces. Then, in the 1960's became a socilaist paradise. Most old french people(70's and up) respect America, but many younger citizens to not.

soviet union

A country formed in the 1920's under a man named Lenin. Would probally would have been a good country and had a moderate communistic economy but Stalin shattered thoses dreams. Stalin killed any person who disagreed or threw them in jail. One of the major reasons why WWII was won was the Soviet Union. The, comited a small anti-semitic genocide after WWII. Also turned nearly evry nation he conqored into a communist nation like the Soviet Union. It was like living in Nazi Germany except a diferent ruler (Stalin) and a different economy (communism). Thank god he died in the 1950's. Later, because of Satlin, it became the new enemy of the West, until the 1980's when the Soviet union collapsed. If the Soviet Union lasted under Lenin longer or Satlin did not come into power, this nation could have been maybe even a good ally of the west.Just a note, i am NOT a communist. I am just interperting history the way i see it and a making hypothisis.

The Soviet Union produced one of the best tanks of WWII, the T-34.

George Patton

A General in the US Army Born on November 11th, 1885. He was a famous General of WWII who kicked a lot of german ass and made the Germans fear him. He liked to use tanks and drive like a mad dog through the enemy. He was one of our best General's of WWII. He died on December 21st, 1945 after a car crash. One of the Army's best general's and is the father of the US tank force. He is also famous for being the kind of guy who you would think eats nails for breakfest.

world war ii

A War that started beacuse Nazi Germany, under Hitler, Invaded Poland in 1939. Was then declared war on by France and UK. Germany Invaded France and many other countries in 1940and 41, knocking them all out except for a few free forces. They used a stargey called blitzkrieg Also, Italy joined Germany in 1940 stating the Axis allience. Germans then Invaded the Soviet Union in 1941, bringing them onto the allied side (UK, Free French). Then Japan declareed war on USA and UK after the attack on Pearl Harbor followed by the Axis declaring war on the US. The war went poorly in 1941-spring of 1942. But, then the battles of El Alaimen, Stalingrad, Midway, and Gudalcanal (all happening in Summer of 1942-Winter of 1943) pushed the war in the Allies favor. In the Summer of 1943, the Battle of Kursk destroyed any cahnce of German victory on the Eastern Front, and in 1944, the D-Day landings made Germany have to fight a two front war. Mean while, the US kept on driving back the Japenease to Japan, shattering there navy at battles like Battle of the Phillipine Sea and Lyete Gulf. In December of 1944, Germany lunched a last ditch effort to defeat the UK-USA allience forces, but failed, making defeat unavoidable to Germany. Germany collapsed 5 moubths later on May 8th, with Hitler commiting suicide a few days earlier. Japan fell 3 mounths later, with a A-bomb being dropped on them because of the bloodshed a invasion of Japan would have. Many attrocities where commited by Germany during the war aginst the Jews and many other religions, nationinalities, and in general life stlye choices, which was calle the holacost Japan did similar, treating prisioners with extreme brutality and civilians alike. It is one of the most widly known wars and most highly used in movies, games etc..

Many inventions came out of World War II, like the Jet engine, Radar, jeeps, and nuclear technolgy.

9/11

The day when Al-Queda terrorist hijacked CIVILIAN planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and one more being taken back over by the passengers. altogerther, over 3,000 people died. This was NOT a government hoax. It was an cowardly attack aganist innocent people, which, no matter what you say, locked us uin a war aginst a great evil, Al-Queda and its other little groups. This, is fact, and incase you didn't notice, this is also a crime aginst humanity.

Protester- Bush is behind 9/11!!
Random Guy- Do you have proof?
Protester- Well, yeah, he framed it beacuse he is a Nazi!
Random Guy- Sorry, but I don't have time for this.
