Someone's "basketball height" is their height plus a couple inches to make themselves feel better. Also means what they'd claim to be if they were in the NBA

Joe was 5'5", but he told everyone he was 5'7". That was just his basketball height.

A god-awful slang word used by idiots and stoners, mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is a replacement for words like "very".

I am proud to say I don't say hella despite living in the SF Bay Area.

A word that people use to describe anyone who doesn't see the world the way they do.

It's bullshit, because not everyone values the same things at the same level.

Because I cared about some details that she never noticed, she called me imperceptive.
