Transcending the unnecessary that is mansplaining, idiotsplaining is when a total idiot attempts to explain something to another individual that knows the subject matter much better than they do. Examples include a man idiotsplaining how women’s reproductive organs work; an antivaxxer explaining to an epidemiologist how herd Immunity works and; an uneducated conservative explaining socialism to a political science grad.
