In poker, usually, it is when you lose a hand that seemed like it was going to win to a person who got extremely lucky.

Usually followed by a very pointless bad beat story

The biggest bad beat I can remember is when I had pocket queens and the flop was:

Q44. The other guy had KJ and caught two runner Kings for the higher full house.

I was 99.4% favored to win the pot.

Pocket g's

The nuts. Used mostly for Texas Hold 'Em. It is common for people to say "gg" after knocking someone out. When this occurs, the one who won the pot held Pocket g's for the nuts.
Any two cards can be pocket g's.

Aprilia

A poorly crafted sports bike made from recycled parts found at a local landfill site in northern Italy. Put together in makeshift caravans by Romanian asylum seekers and given away in the UK to the less fortunate.

Don’t be like Davey and buy and Aprilia, his friends always have to wait in the next service station for him to catch up and he can’t ride it in the rain as it’s not waterproof.
