The act of exploiting glitches, errors, mistakes, or a bug in a system for harmless fun or devious mischief.

Glitching can also mean that a system, such as a computer, is experiencing many glitches and technical problems at once.
"He has been at the bank glitching that ATM machine all night..."

"My comp is glitching out again, dammit."

"Glitching the character creation menu is weird, it causes every NPC in the game to turn inside out."

"If I am glitching too much in that game it causes a BSoD and my computer stops working for a few hours."

"Stop glitching or I'll ban you from the server!"

Highroofing is a type of map glitching common in first person shooter games such as Battlefield 2142, where it was frequently an issue.

Highroofing essentially consists of getting up onto an extremely high roof or structure where nobody can reach you or easily hit you, and then totally exploit whoring the hell out of that position.

Because with highroofing you can advance to the roof edges unpredictably, quickly pop up, use a weapon, then retreat to total cover and safety, it is considered to be a lame or cheap tactic by many. Prolonged use of highroofing may cause some players to ragequit, which can be hella funny but is somewhat mean.

However, if no exploiting or glitching is involved and it is an intentional game mechanic, it is generally not considered highroofing, though some noobs will accuse people of it and whine a ton about it anyway.
Examples and related quotes:

"Damn noob, If you keep highroofing I will ban you!"

"Hes highroofing again omfg"

"Get down from there and stop highroofing you noob"

"Dude how did you get up there?"

"wtf hax"

"stop the nade spam from up there, highroofing scum"

"learn to highroof lol"

"I cant effing hit the highroofer"

Glitching oneself about the virtual terrain in computer and console games for harmless fun or devious mischief. Becoming skilled at map glitching can be rewarding for players, but overuse of glitches may cause other lame players to get pissed off.

Gameplay Examples:

Stacking loads of objects up to get to odd places the player was not meant to access or to get out of the map.

Bunnyhopping up onto stuff and into unusual locations in the game environment that were not meant to be accessible to the player.
Examples in speech:

"damn map glitchers"

"map glitching is fun, let me show you how"

"Multiple map glitch exploits were fixed in the 8.7 patch..."

Blocking a person or entity from access to an electronic service for a period of time, often indefinitely. When dealing with minor server rule infractions, users are usually simply muted for a bit or kicked (forcibly disconnected) by the administrators of a service, but are given another chance and allowed to reconnect, whereas a ban is much harsher and will deny and/or block any attempts connect with or view the page or service. Administrators (aka Admins) of networks, websites, servers, channels, and forums can usually ban people or entities from connecting to a server, either by their account information, their IP address, or other filters. People are usually banned for violating the Terms of Service, hidden legalese nobody bothers to read, rules, or going against the spirit/ideals/culture of the website, server, network, channel, or forum. Bans can range anywhere from a few minutes in length to an indefinite amount of time.
