Japanese term for Furry. From animals with human attributes like Sonic the Hedgehog, up to humans with animal attributes like Youko-Kurama.

Mermaids & most Greek myth characters are Kemono.

bishounen

One of the 3 stages of male beauty most men will never achieve, esp. if they're 3 dimensional & non-asian.

Bisyouta/Bishota: Cute little boy. (usually around 13, wich in Japan, is the age of concent)

Bishounen (commonly mispelled as bishonen); A boy around 14-19 who has femanine qualities & youthfullness that enhance his physical appearence.

Biseinen; A man who has retained androgynous beauty after becoming an adult.

The more manly looking or handsome a man is, the LESS bishounen he is. For example; FF7 & Bakuretsu hunters;
Marron/Vincent; Bishounen/Biseinen.
Cid/Gateau; not biseinen.

shota

Refurs STRICTLY to young boys. Female shota is colled Lolli.

Shota, or more commonly in Japan; Syouta, is LEAGAL in Japan because the age of concent is 13 there. Rather than attracting gay men, this appeals to young Japanese girls & one of my friends.

Because of how popular it is & how well it sells & since 2D drawings are harmless, shota will not become illigal in Japan any time soon.

chibi

A Japanese slang word know around the world. It's a combination of Bi & Chisai; meaning Small/Beautiful. If a Chibi is not pretty, it's refurred toas SD or Super Deformed. There are 2 kinds of chibis; stubby chibis with no limbs (think Powerpuff girls) & regular chibis, which resemble noseless children.

Chibis are small & beautiful, babies are super deformed.

Jan-ken-pon

Before there was rock-paper-scissors, there was Jan-ken-pon, which basically means the same thing.

Players call out the name of the game till someone calls "Aiko desho!"
