Everybody seems to want to be the victim, so you have store owners that think they should be allowed to tell people to wear a mask, or not allow people in their stores, when really they're already allowed to do that, it's the customer who goes to jail.
Everybody seems to want to be the victim, even the government which is now taking/stealing change from people and saying theres a coin/cash shortage through the treasury.

Any attempt to portray or otherwise transform an assailant into the victim, e.g., White Supremacist as victim; Rapist as victim; Traitor as victim.
Victimating can easily be understood in the context of rapists claiming what they did was the victim's fault; e.g., "She was asking for it wearing that short dress."

A condition similar to victimitis that causes one to often cast themselves as a victim for the purposes of self-gratification. Severe cases can lead to the person manufacturing scenarios entirely in order to maintain their victim status.
The man’s victim boner could only become fully erect when he felt that others where feeling sorry for him. That caused him to repeatedly orchestrate scenarios where he was the victim of attacks.

A metaphorical cap belonging to those who tend to find themselves easily offended. They are known to pull "cards"(race card, sex card, gay card, etc.) in defense during arguments. They are self-victimizing people usually upset over social issues they relate to or for being labeled somehow; whether or not the intended purpose of their "attackers" was initially to offend or not. Many times, the latter. Also committed by overly privileged, self-entitled losers who genuinely believe they deserve more with little to no effort to show for it.

When someone hits a rough spot and responds with a story of themselves as a victim, especially if that person has fame, money, influence, status or some combination of such things.
