A term which most foreign-born pakistanis find very racist. But people who were actually born in Pakistan understand fully what this actually means, and do not take any offence from it at all, for it is in fact a compliment. The word 'Paki' actually means 'Pure'. This comes from the meaning of Pakistan, which is 'Pureland'. The 'Stan' means land.

A word used against Pakistanis and Pakistanis only. This word is to not be said by anyone other than a Pakistani. No, this word isn’t for indians, bengalis, nepalis, etc..to say. end of discussion. And also it’s NOT short for Pakistani. Be respectful, use Pakistani. It’s literally not hard to say PAKISTANI. Show us some respect :)

Steve: "Hey Jim, because I'm British, does that make me a Brit?"
Jim: "Yes Jim, just like I'm a Scot because I'm from Scotland, and my friend Bruce here is an Aussie because he's from Australia"
Bruce: "That's bloody correct mate"
Ali: "That must make me a Paki! Because I am from Pakistan! How anyinee could find that offensive is beyond me!"
*group hug*

Paki acquired offensive connotations in the 1960s when used by British tabloids to refer to subjects of former colony states in a derogatory and racist manner. In modern British usage "Paki" is typically a derogatory label referring to South Asians beyond Pakistan, including those from India, Afghanistan and elsewhere
white racist: yo ya fookin paki bastard
bengali guy: im bengali tho im not a paki
random: the point of paki isnt to call someone a pakistani neither does it mean pakistani its to offend someone of asian muslim descent

Derogatory term that's mainly used by complete fuckheads. They can't tell a Muslim from a Hindu so the term "paki" goes to both races. Someone needs to shoot those racist bastards.
My classmate (and he's black o_O): I got a Paki version for 50 Cent's "Candy Shop". "I'll take you to the candy shop. I'll let you lick the red spot"
