Not good. Bad.
The early Jazz musicians would say that a guy could really "Blow" if he had a good sound when playing the horn. If he couldn't play very well then they would say that he was "Sucking" on that horn. That's where the term "Suck" as being something bad came from.

When you suck your bro off, and he sucks you off in return. It's not gay because you're just helping a brotha out and the gayness cancels.
"We were hanging out and bored, so we decided to do a suck for suck, nothing wrong with that. Just trying to help a brotha relieve some stress."

'Suck it' was a fad during the 90's used by many children in elementary and middle school. This often went along with a motion; crossing one's arms at the wrists, and hitting the crotch area while they lean back. Though it may be coming back, if one were to ask a group full of children what the motion meant, it is probable that only one may know the answer.
When it became beknownst to the teachers back in the 90's, anyone seen in the act of such a motion would be prosecuted and/or severly punished (e.g. detention, whippings, time in the corner).
