systemic. an outside agent introduced into the system of a living being. it is usually administered for the purpose of fighting pathogens harmful to the living being.
systemic poisons are absorbed into the flesh of the plant and internalized. the poisons are not harmful to the plant, enabling the plant to fight the invasion with new ammo.
