A one or two finger grip of interlocked fingers from two people that is the equivalent of holding hands. Used in summer weather when its too hot to hold hands fully.
Justin and Francisca had to resort to summer grip to express their love and affection as they toured the European cities in the peak of summer, to avoid the slimy feeling of a full hand hold.
