When something is guaranteed to fail, but someone does it anyway out of Desperation, Hope, or desire for "Divine Intervention" of some kind.

Not to be confused with pure ignorance or testing Natural Selection. A "Suicide 25" only occurs when someone fully understands what they're doing is impossible, but does it anyway in hope of a different outcome.

Started from a /b/ post on 4Chan talking about games that could be played with 4 Dice. In which a user made a dark humor post about "Their Father" rolling 4 dice, if they got less than 25 they would commit suicide. Hoping that god would give them a sign to keep going. This is where "Suicide 25" comes from. As with 4 Six-sided Dice its impossible to roll a 25 or higher.

Noun: a friend who is usually only called upon by a friend when a more primary/prominent friend is unavailable.

Taken from the term “second string” in an athletic competition situation. In football, if the star quarterback gets injured during a play, the second string is called off the bench to replace him/her. A “Second String Friend” is essentially benched until needed, if ever.
