The golden snitch is a ball used in the Sport 'Quidditch' (from the Harry Potter movies/books/etc.). The game ends when the seeker of one team catches the golden snitch.

Someone who doesn't technically go to the cops but still airs out that that should remain concealed on the streets. Basically a bitchmade way to get revenge or a careless blabbermouth who may need checking.
