No one knows exactly how many there are, they all use the word "smurf" in place of any verb and they all look the same (except for Papa Smurf who wears red clothes and Smurfette who wears a white dress). If there is anything around the Smurf Village that needs to be done, you can be sure that there exists a smurf to smurf it.
