The midwest's longest running annual ska festival. It takes place every year on a Saturday in May. It originally took place at Lawrence University in Appleton (hence the name), but has since been moved to Tanners Bar in Kimberly ( a neighboring town). It includes ska bands from all over the midwest, with many coming from Wisconsin. In 2009, for the first time, there was also a Skappleton held in Minnesota the Sunday after the one in Appleton. It is 12 hours of amazing, ska-filled fun!
