Shephalika or Shefalika is the name derived from a white tropical flower of jasmine specie, that blossoms at night. It has a special place in ancient Hindu religious practises. Also called Parijat (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis), it appears in several Hindu religious stories and is often related to the sacred tree called Kalpavriksha.
A girl name Shephalika is the mortal embodiment of Aphrodite herself. She is the reason people smile, love and trust in goodness of heaven and angels. She is one of the most beautiful girl you can ever come across. She is naive; she seeks beauty in every living being and rejoices in their virtues and imperfections. Her eyes are beautiful, deep and a reflection of her soul; and her soul is a mirror and your perceptions about her is nothing but your own reflection. Her lips look like a finely crafted artifact or carving on a beautiful monument-- that tantalises you to touch it and feel it's surreal-perfection and tenderness.
