Sexism
Since a LOT of people here are sexist while literally explaining sexism, here’s the real definition.
Sexism is discrimination and prejudice towards both MEN and WOMEN!!!
Gender discrimination may encompass sexism, and is discrimination toward people based on their gender identity or their gender or sex differences. Gender discrimination is especially defined in terms of workplace inequality. It may arise from social or cultural customs and norms.
Here are few examples:

• male or female makes a biased opinion based off of one person from the opposite gender like: My girlfriend/boyfriend just cheated on me, all boys do is cheat/ girls belong to the streets., Etc.
•sexist language, automatically assuming gender based off of their hobbies/profession like: Today’s my first time going to spa, I hope she will get rid of my sore neck. I’m getting my tires changed today, I hope he will give me discount. Etc.
• Stereotyping like: Men have to provide his family while women have to be housewives, that women are afraid of doing dirty jobs and men only do the dirty jobs, that men can’t show emotion and women are over sensitive, men can’t wear skirts/dresses/crop tops bc that’s “gay”, assuming persons gender based off of what colours they are wearing and by the length of their hair, etc.
• Men hating the feminism movement because they don’t want to share rights with women.
• Women hating men for existing because their ancestors killed, raped and harassed women for centuries (:(). And THIS is an explanation to the killallmen2020 movement- the movement is meant towards misogynistic, transphobic, islamophobic, indophobic homophobic, racist (and many more), straight cis males. Which means if u joke about rape, queer people/people of colour/religious peoples rights and call it dark humour, I have bad news for u buddy.
•Using “girl” and “man” like: John, don’t be such a girl, man up., etc.
And many more.

Sexism is a problem that does not only effect women.
The true definition is discrimination towards someone for their gender.
I saw an example saying, "If men hug, they are gay. If girls kiss, they are best friends." Who the fuck else other than young men and pathetic grown adults are calling men gay for hugging? Men who withhold toxic masculinity. The women who would think the same are the ones who seek validation from the men who are toxic within themselves. Who do you think the idea of men hugging men was gay? Because it wasn't women.. It wasn't non binary people...
Another example I read, "Men are expected to pay for women when they go out to eat together." First off, what kind of girls are you meeting up with? A 45 year old Christian Lady? The idea of men paying for women is rooted in the fact that men were seen as superior to women, seen as the "strength" and the "hard work" and the "money" of the household. Why the fuck would women, who did not have voice in those times, make up that "rule"??

Another example I read (much more serious and important): "Women are supported through their r@pe stories while men are told they should 'enjoy it' ." Now, for this one.. This is just upsetting. Whenever you hear a woman talk about her experience or her opinion on other women's experiences, you will never, ever hear them say that they should have enjoyed it. I truly do not believe that a woman would ever say "You should have enjoyed it" to a man unless they were one of the females I referenced earlier; The women who would think the same are the ones who seek validation from the men who are toxic within themselves. Majority of fucked up, sexist men would tell you to enjoy it.
Not women. When you think of sexism, please actually look at the roots of what you're saying and believing. A lot of you sound fucking dumb. I also read something on here that listed 2 things that are sexist towards women, and 10 things that are sexist towards men. That is so fucking embarrassing for you.
