Intelligence agency term for "psychological operation". A government or corporate-sponsored operation, usually taking the form of a "terrorist attack" or "crazed gunman on a spree", with the intent of panicking the public into demanding more police and laws inhibiting freedom. Psyops are usually carried out by drugging a civilian or group of civilians with aggression-promoting drugs, psyching them up, arming them, and sending them out to commit mayhem. A Soviet manufactured Light machine gun, which is a non-belt fed high capacity version of the Ak platform. The RPK sports a 40 to 75 round 7.62x39 magazine which could be, either a standard AK extended magazine or a drum magazine. The weapon is still today seeing use in conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa.
