The Rev (short for The Reverend Tholomew Plague) was born as James "Jimmy" Sullivan on February 10, 1981. The Rev and A7x lead singer M. Shadows attended a Catholic school. He was kicked out in 3rd grade. He also has a side project with A7x guitarist, Synyster Gates, called Pinkly Smooth in which he does lead vocals.
