aka. R.I.C. A situation where a person actively practices and believes in two or more religions, but is not sure which one they should be the most devoted to because all of the ones they are a part of contradict some of the individual's social views and or the religions don't completely agree with each other's beliefs.
Victor: Dude, something seems to be bothering Cameron for the past few days. You wouldn't happen to know what has been going on would you?
Chelsey: Cameron is having a religious identity crisis. He has been actively practicing Buddhism and Catholicism for years, but he is not sure which one he should be the most devoted to. Neither of them completely his social views and some of the religion's beliefs contradict each other.
Victor: What social issues does he care about the most? He could use those issues to figure out which one he wants to be more devoted to.
Chelsey: I'll ask him the next time I see him. I hope this helps him resolve this issue soon.
