A term used to describe a person who is a total individual. They don't care what anyone thinks of them and they do what they please. Just like a pug.

Taken from the term “second string” in an athletic competition situation. In football, if the star quarterback gets injured during a play, the second string is called off the bench to replace him/her. A “Second String Friend” is essentially benched until needed, if ever.

Pugger is a noun derived from the the acronym PUG, for Pick Up Group. This refers to a person (in an MMOG) who bands with you in the interest of achieving a shared objective. A pugger has a dubious amount of skill and therefore may be of little use.
