The open source way of saying "go screw yourself".

When somebody requests a new feature in a open source project and nobody wants to implement it, the project moderators will politely say no by saying that the person requesting the feature is welcome to do the work himself.
Random guy: I think it would be a great if Firefox supported joystick navigation. That way, a user can click on links using a joystick rather than a mouse.

Project Maintainer: We don't have the resources to create such a feature. Patches are welcome and we will review the code if you are willing to write it yourself.
