PALCS Kids typically have a fondness of cats, pop-tarts and energy drinks and involvement in school field trips and activities such as student government. A PALCS Kid has a twisted sense of humor and often takes interest in things that are generally considered to be out of the norm. They are an artsy, politically minded bunch who would most likely be deemed as "one of those weird kids" in a brick and mortar school setting, but all in all, a PALCS Kid has heart.
