Sometimes thought of as a contraction of p-zombie, but p-zed is more of a subset, usually used for persons who's logic is incoherent or can't think for themselves and only follow the directions of others.

Philosophical zombies, theoretical entities which look and act exactly as human beings do but possess no consciousness. They may say "ouch", wince, and react appropriately, but have no actual sensations or emotions.
