It's simple enough, if you seal up the leaks, your relationship will be airtight again, it wont be open. If your landlord or counselor or outside person died, you'd have nobody to seal the leaks but you and your other half.

A relationship where it's okay to cheat, but it's not okay, because you never really decided it was okay in the first place. A person in an open relationship doesnt see the havoc this adds to their life.

What happened to their being someone for everyone? If you know you're going to end up sticking with a decision (when you dont allow yourself a way out of it), you'll make sure you made the right one with no regrets.
