Abbreviation for Office of Family and Children. Each county in each state has their own OFC which are governed by state regulations. Sometimes they are called the DFC which is the abbreviation for Department of Family and Children.

When children are abused or neglected in any way and the county offices find out about it, the children will be taken away by a social worker from the OFC.
