April 25 is National Clip Your Toe Nail Day. It is common practice on this day to not only clip your own toe nails, but also find someone who needs to clip their toe nails and let them know. A simple “Hey it’s National Clip Your Toe Nails Day” will suffice. However it is also encouraged to ridicule your victims lightly for having monstrous and disgusting toenails. This national holiday can be traced back to the Wamapoke tribe who originated from Americas southwest region in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Nevada In the late 1600s. For them it was the time of year they trimmed their horses nails and as a tribute of honor to their majestic steeds they would also trim their own toe nails.
