A term given to a side project born out of the desire to re-establish relevance in the consumer web/social media space, but which generally only serves to polarize teams and distract the company from its primary product and customer base.
The remaining engineers and the company's customers became alienated when the company, along with select employees, embarked on a year-long mogwee.
