If you like Metal and Rock it does not mean you are a goth, emo. I love Metal and Rock but most people are sucked in to the "MUSIC" they play on the radio in the U.K. Also as well as most people in my school love Rnb. my opinion.
People at school: OMFG YOU EMO YOU LIKE SLIPKNOT, ALL THEY DO IS SCREAM AT THE MIC AND THEY CANT SING.

A type of Progressive rock or metal. The "math" part of the name comes from the intricate polyrhythms and time signatures. Bands include: Messhugah, Opeth, Tool
"Holy crap, this band Messhugah is the epitome of math metal! Almost every one of their songs is in 23/16 meter."
