Mattis is a character in the book Ronja Rövardotter, by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. Mattis is Ronjas dad and robber chieftain. He lives with robbers, his wife and daughter Ronja Lovis in a large castle that has been divided by a lightning strike. He is a person with strong emotions, he was bubbling with happiness and pride when Ronja born, when he is angry he throws things around him and he becomes fully enraged when Ronja befriends the son of his worst enemy, Borka. In the film version portrayed by actor Börje Ahlstedt.

Mattie is a walking goddess.
She can sing, she’s usually an athlete, and she’s incredibly attractive, inside and out.
She may seem as a little bitchy at first, but once you crack the code, she’s super friendly.
But be warned, cracking her code is a very daunting task. She’s very hard to read, like maybe one day she’ll talk to you, but then the next it’s like you’re totally irrelevant.
She’s also very self-deprecating. Make sure to tell her how important and amazing she is. She’ll need it.
Mattie LOVES to argue. She won’t get offended at your opposing opinions; she’ll fight for her own.
Love her. Take care of her. Don’t let her get away.

She is a nice loving caring girl who will love with all her heart she will sometimes get mad but she will always come back and when she feels strongly about something she will not change her mind she is a great friend and she will always make your day brighter.

Mattie is the kind of girl that will literally make you LOL. She is usually very pretty, sweet, and honest. Matties are fighters AND lovers because if they have a strong opinion, they are known to fight for it. However, if they love you they are very passionate and expressive of their feelings. They like getting close and being held. If you currently have a Mattie in your life i would strongly suggest holding on to her as she will most likely complete you. Matties are also sensitive to what you say to them.. they will only dislike you if you have ever been unecessarily mean to them. And if you are too sarcastic to them, they will get the intention that you really dont like them. Matties are very unique and hilarious. So if you are ever having a bad day, just call one..they'll have you laughing in no time!

They're the kind of girls that will make your day and can break your heart. You fall hard for a Mattie, and once you do their is no going back. Matties may not seem beautiful to others but when you fall in love with one she's all you'll want to look at. She is beautiful and complex and must be treated with care, hang on to the Matties in your life, they're truly unique and emotion sparking creatures who you'll learn much from and never want to be apart from
