stands for long island hardcore, a musical and political music from the late 80's to early 2000's. bands like mind over matter, vison of disorder, clockwise, silentmajority and glassjaw were some who comprised the lihc scene. many of its members were straight-edge, and vegetarian or vegan, and politically active.
i miss the good old days of lihc before all the bands started eye makeup and playing crappy pop songs on long island.
