Pronounced "KROOH-pooh' ", the apostrophe representing a glottal stop like the sound of "uh-oh". The Indonesian word for the shrimp chips served with South Asian dinners, usually Indonesian, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, or Burmese. Some or all of the krupuk may have pink or green food coloring added.
