the application of filming an object or person using a craning motion, as if the camera were on some form of jib. The term has been coined as an industry slang way of saying 'jib op (as in jib operator - a person who moves and operates a jib with a camera attached). The phrase, through repition of use, became a means of instructing jib operators on what to film during media broadcasts.
