Can also be used as a term of disapproval by saying "it doesn't play".
Al: I dont know if these socks look good with these shoes.
Jon: No, it plays. or No, those shoes play.

Jon: I dont know if driving a scooter in the rain will work.
AL: Yeah, that doesn't play.
