A portmanteau (combination of two or more words or morphemes, see also wordbining) consisting of all or portions of insane/insanity, Santa, and antics. Describes the crazy acts undertaken by people who are altogether nutty about Christmas and associated decorations, celebrations, music, etc. One who overindulges in these acts could also be called an insantic.
