A sarcastic way to refer to an older man, especially one trying and failing to be an authority figure. Formed by combining holmes or homes with an allusion to the practice of selling old horses to the glue factory once they're past their useful life.
Yeah, I know the urge to tell off your boss right now is overwhelming. But trust me, Homeglue has big, scary issues of his own.
