An insult to Deaf people everywhere and to the Deaf community. For us its like the N-word. Impaired means a deficiency. There's nothing wrong with us. We can think, feel, and do anything hearing people can do.... except hear.

Crazy, but not in an inherently bad way; a bit loopy or trippy. People who are hearing xylophones can be a lot of fun to hang out with.

This expression is often used in the financial industry as an expression of agreement. One person will say, "Stocks are taking a beating today". The response would be "hearing youuuuuuu" (usually drawn out a bit for emphasis)
