Being in a state of excess grumpiness/grief or throwing a temper tantrum over a trivial matter. From ham + woe. Ham initially referred to the meat, but can also mean to exaggerate, similar to when actors ham it up.
A man held a longterm grievance after his parents fed him cheap processed luncheon meat as a child, while they themselves ate quality ham, giving him the first case of hamwoe.
If the drink I ordered doesn't turn up in five minutes I'll break down into a hamwoe until they let me have it for free!
