A break of several seconds in an I.M. thread when one of the participants switches to their web browser in search of a pithy expression or additional evidence for some part of their conversation.

Solarpunk is a movement focused on a positive, ecological vision for a future where technology is used for human-centric and ecocentric purposes. It is a literary, artistic and aesthetic sub-genre and is also closely tied to eco-political activism. Solarpunk narratives have a distinctly positive and utopian foundation in contrast to the often dystopian visions found within other "punk" science fiction genres.

When it takes someone a minute or so to respond because they are googling the reference you just made

The (often awkward) break in an online conversation that occurs after someone references and/or asks something which you have no idea about. The break lasts as long as it takes you to google search the aforementioned 'something' and (usually) click on the wikipedia article for it and skim-read the first paragraph or so. After the break, you proceed to pretend there was no break in the conversation, and you attempt to pass your newfound knowledge off as something you've known for ages.
