In the ghetto, where they are unable to plant real trees, a ghetto tree may be used instead. A ghetto tree is a bunch of jagged peices of two-by-fours and other scrap wood nailed together onto one complete two-by-four, giving it the slight illusion of being a dead tree. When painted green, it is a ghetto christmas tree.
