Gbevu originally meant a rascal or stubborn or a gangster in Ewe language of the people of Volta Region in Ghana & Togo West Africa, Gbevu quite used among the Ewe community on social media, has gradually been changed to represent purposeful living or being stubborn in a positive way , stubborn in chasing your dreams, it’s best used in the streets but adopted but the corporate community when Ghana Musician Ayigbe Edem or Edem Goget’em projected it as his fan base, what has now been known as the GbevuNation. Edem has a song titled Gbevu and a remix which features Ghanaian all stars like Gemini , Misvee , EL , Feli Nuna , Cabum & Joe Frazier which explains the meaning better
