That state of distress, when you are undecided between two favorable/unfavorable actions. Named after multiple cockatoo mannerisms (i.e. raising the "crest" during a state of curiosity, and lifting the "fluffenchops" a.k.a. beak feathers during a state of dismay). Like the cockatoo, humans will give similar signals (such as raising the "eyebrow" , and lifting the "nostrils"), that when produced simuntaneously, resemble the fluffencrest, both visually and emotionally.
