Short for fan fiction, is not a plural. Usually based on books, brands, movies ect.

Often times, fanfic is a bunch of crap and takes away from the story's real plot. However, there are a few good pieces out there that don't stab and kill the real thing

Many authors allow fanfic to be posted without consent, as long as it mentions that the characters were created by them. However, other authors (AKA killjoys) are idiots and don't see the free promoting of the book, and don't alllow fanfic at all.

Joey x Cold

After hearing the explosion in the forest, Joey and Cold instantly moved to the scene. Knowing Spec and Enel, their friends, were at the forest in the first place, they moved out of sheer necessity to the forest. Although, on their way, they managed to get into a sticky spot.

While dashing through the forest, suddenly they bumped into each other. Both came crashing to the ground, with Joey falling on top of Cold. Joey's breath hitched as he realized what was happening.

"Yikes, I didn't mean to fall on top of her, but... No! I can't think thoughts like those when our friends could have been reduced to ash in the explosion! But even so...it's hard to resist not caressing her face." Joey says, disappointed in himself and the situation simultaneously.

Like always, Cold was feeling the exact same way.

"Wow, in a situation like this with Joey it would be simple for things to take a weird turn. But, Spec and Enel need us right now. Joey's cute face and 6-pack abs can wait for right now. Later though..."

They were lost in their own thoughts when the second explosion happened. It brought them out and they started rushing back through the forest. Though, neither of them could lie if they said they weren't thinking of the other the whole way through.

Writing fake situations based on people you have never met or characters that are not real, the people are celebrities, musicians, artists, characters in a book etc...

When you watch an awesome show, or read an amazing story, then after a while on the internet you see a horribly disturbing story utilizing the characters from whatever you're watching doing terrible things, mentally shaking you.

A story plot, idea, or character pairing that is so insane or stupid that it could only make sense while on drugs.

1. n. A character, group of characters, scene, or plot that is liable to be featured in fanfiction, usually due to an abundance or overuse of moé or cliché traits possessed by the subject(s) in question.

2. n. As in 1, but with the subject(s) having already been featured in fanficton, esp. when the frequency of these features is high.

The term originates from "cannon fodder", a play on the tendency of moé and cliché characters, scenes, and plots to be used in large, unsparing quantities in fanfiction.
