The people who cause the most pain in your life yet somehow are the people who make your world livable, they love you, they miss you. Sometimes family is a group of friends, or your dog or cat, or even yourself. But they are there through the ups and downs, through your good and bad, and through your best and worst. Family is not necessarily genetics, but the time and energy you spend together. It's the valuable work that goes into it. the familiarity that builds up, that makes you grow stronger together as a "family". It's the people where you feel most comfortable and happy, where you feel at home and secure.
