A communication option on Facebook that allows users to say hello to or show interest in a friend without having to go through the tedious process of crafting coherent sentences in order to express one's self.

A friendly way of "annoying" someone and reminding them that they have you as a friend on Facebook. Does NOT always mean you're flirting. Can also be something you do in order to keep yourself busy when you're bored.,
