A brand of shoes that most of the posters on this site have labeled the official shoe of posers everywhere. In all actuality, just a pair of shoes.

Question:Why are you people so religious about footwear? Like, you all flip out when people "steal your shoes."

If the only thing original about you is the kind of shoes you where, then that should be more concerning than the fact somebody, somewhere, may have the same shoes as you. (Which they are bound to unless you bought custom-made one-of-a-kind shoes)

I actually own etnies. And while I do not skate, (which IS a sport, for all you "non-conformists" who think skaters are the anti-jocks), I would not go as far as to label myself a "poser bitch." Nor do most of the people I know, because they choose to judge me on my actions and words, not on one of the countless pairs of shoes i'll own over the course of my life.

They are shoes.
They are not god.
I bought etnies because they were fairly comfortable, stylish, and affordable ($60 compared to $120) And because i only had 5 minutes to buy a pair before my mom had to take my sis home for her nap. In addition, I wasn't aware that these days selecting a brand of shoe was a life altering decision, expressing your deepest feeling, opinions, and beleifs (apparently)

I was led to beleive that they were simply devices to prevent you from stepping on nails and dying.

A deranged, poorly-planned attempt to seize power; particularly if an election does not turn out in your favor.
Disgraced attorney Rudy Giuliani’s face became drenched in sweat and hair dye as he invented evidence of widespread voter fraud during President Trump’s clown coup.

Comfortable shoes that feel like youre walking on clouds. Angry skaters will say that Im posing for wearing them but I dont wear them to look like a skater, Im not insecure about my appearance, and I wear them for the sole purpose that they feel great. Nikes are like thin cardboard shoes compared to these so any skaters tellin me im posing are retarded and have their own issues to deal with (the fact that they get all menstrual about a pair of fucking shoes)
If you want a comfortable reliable pair of shoes, for whatever purpose, go with etnies.
If you care about how "cool" you are wearing doesnt matter what shoe you wear you have deeper issues i suggest you take care of.

Etnies is an American footwear brand based in Lake Forest, California and owned by Sole Technology, Inc. with roots deeply embedded in skateboarding. etnies is primarily a maker of footwear designed for skateboarding, but in more recent years etnies has also created shoes and clothing for snowboarders, BMX and motocross riders, as well as surfers.

Started in France in 1986, the brand's original name was Etnics, derived from the word "ethnic," which was a nod to the skateboarding sub-culture. It was later renamed etnies due to legal issues. In 1989, Pierre-André Sénizergues took charge, making it the first skateboard shoe brand owned by a professional skateboarder.

etnies is considered to be the most accessible of Sole Technology's brands. While its other brands, éS Footwear and Emerica, focus more narrowly on skateboarding shoes, etnies has a broader appeal, designing shoes for toddlers, as well as etnies Girl, a line for girls and women. 1

etnies sponsors many professional action sports athletes in sports such as skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, and motocross.
