It’s similar to long distance except, both partners never met eachother, usually plan to though, and met eachother online. Most e-daters tend to be teens rather than adults. Partners usually meet eachother through social media. E-dating for some part is hated on due to how many e-daters have met eachother on Discord. If you’re going to seriously e-date, please do not meet them on Discord, and like show your face? I’ve seen e-daters talk about theyre relationships and they’ve never showed their face? Signs that you're e-dating:
You're both on the internet
They're a million miles away in another state or country
You've never met them face to face (webcam doesn't count)
You find yourself kissing your computer screen
When you have sex it looks like text (typically in the form of an email, instant message or worse yet a comment)
A romantic candle light dinner for two ends up being you alone in a dimly lit room sitting in front of your computer
A walk on the beach ends up being nothing more than role play over the internet
They're complete strangers to you, you just met and don't know a thing about each other and yet still confess to being in "love"
